• 4-Way Lumbar & Memory: Most leather sets include full electric adjustment with 3-position memory (Code 275).

• Heating & Ventilation (Code 401): High-spec GLE sets feature perforated leather centers with internal fans for cooling and multi-stage heating.

• Rear Seating: The W166 features a 60:40 split-folding rear bench. Many sets include the “Easy-Entry” electronic folding motor if the donor car was equipped with the 3rd-row option (rare on W166 GLE but common on GLS).

Fitment & Compatibility

• ML to GLE Swap: The seats from a Pre-facelift ML (W166 2012–2015) are physically compatible with the GLE (2016–2019), but the stitching patterns and some electrical connectors for the headrests differ.

• GLE Coupe (C292) Warning: The front seats of the GLE SUV and GLE Coupe are interchangeable. However, the rear seats are NOT. The Coupe has a completely different rear bench and mounting system due to its sloping roofline.

• Electronics: If your GLE currently has manual seats, you will need the door-mounted switch blocks and additional wiring to enable the power functions.
