Headlight & Bumper Link: The LCI headlights are approximately 10mm slimmer than pre-LCI units. You cannot use LCI headlights with a pre-LCI bumper; they must be swapped together as a set.
Bonnet & Fenders: Good news for retrofitters—the physical bonnet and fenders are identical in shape across the G01 generation, meaning you can often keep your original metal panels and only swap the “soft” parts (bumper/lights/grille).
Wiring: The LCI headlights use a 6-pin connector, whereas pre-LCI units use a 12-pin connector. A successful retrofit requires a wiring adapter and extensive coding of the Body Domain Controller (BDC).
