Lamborghini Huracan Headlights

the Lamborghini Huracán headlight market covers a wide range of models, from the original LP610-4 to the high-performance STO, Tecnica, and Sterrato. While the core “Y-shape” signature remains a Huracán staple, the internal technology and housing finishes have evolved.

1. Headlight Models & Design

Standard Full LED (LP610-4 / LP580-2)

The original design features a dual “Y” Daytime Running Light (DRL). These are full LED units, meaning no bulbs are replaceable; if one element fails, the entire unit usually needs replacement.

Huracán Evo / Tecnica / STO Style

While the external shape remained largely consistent to ensure aerodynamic compatibility, later models often feature:

  • Darkened Internal Housing: A “smoke” or blacked-out look for a more aggressive aesthetic.

  • Improved Beam Throw: Refined optics for better lateral illumination during high-speed cornering.

Sterrato Specifics

The Sterrato uses the standard main headlight units but is often paired with the front-mounted rally pods (auxiliary lights), which are separate units mounted on the front hood/bumper.

2. 2026 Market Pricing (Per Side)

Huracán headlights are notoriously expensive because they are sealed units with integrated cooling fans and control modules.

Condition Source Estimated Price (2026 USD)
New (Genuine Lamborghini) Authorized Dealer $5,800 – $7,500
New (OEM – Marelli/AL) Independent Supplier $4,200 – $5,500
Used (Grade A) Exotic Salvage $2,500 – $3,800

3. Key Part Numbers (Reference)

  • Left Headlight (LHD): 4T0941011 (with various suffixes like B, C, or D).

  • Right Headlight (LHD): 4T0941012.

  • Control Module (Ballast/Driver): 4T0907397.

4. Technical Issues & Maintenance

  • Internal Fans: The Huracán headlights have internal cooling fans to manage the heat of the LEDs. If you hear a “whirring” or “buzzing” sound after the car is off, the fans are working. If they fail, the headlight will overheat and dim itself to prevent melting.

  • Moisture/Condensation: A common issue with older Huracáns is the “fogging” of the lens. Small amounts of mist are normal, but visible water droplets usually indicate a hairline crack in the top seal, often caused by the chassis flexing or heat cycles.

  • UV Yellowing: Since the headlights sit low and at an angle, they take the brunt of the sun and road debris. In 2026, applying PPF (Paint Protection Film) is considered mandatory to prevent the polycarbonate lens from pitting or yellowing.

5. Installation & Calibration

  • Bumper Removal: To replace a headlight, the entire front bumper must be removed. This is a 2–3 hour job.

  • Beam Leveling: After installation, the “Basic Setting” must be performed via a diagnostic tool to calibrate the auto-leveling motors, especially if the car is lowered.
