MCLAREN 570S 570GT FULL LED HEADLIGHT LEFT
McLaren 570S and 570GT use a distinctive “eye-socket” headlight design that is a structural part of the car’s aerodynamics. If you are sourcing a Left (Driver Side) unit, it is a high-intensity full LED assembly that is shared across several models in the McLaren Sports Series.
1. Part Details & Compatibility
The headlight is generally interchangeable between the following models, though internal housing colors (Black vs. Silver) may vary by trim or “MSO” (McLaren Special Operations) options.
-
OEM Part Number:
13A3918CP(Left Hand Drive – North America/Europe) -
Compatible Models: 540C, 570S (Coupe & Spider), 570GT, and 600LT.
-
Lighting Technology: Full LED with integrated “Speedmark” Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and dynamic turn signals.
2. Market Pricing (March 2026)
Prices have stabilized as more of these vehicles enter the secondary market. Note that “Bare” units do not include the expensive electronic control modules (ballasts).
| Condition | Est. Price (USD) | Notes |
| Used (Excellent) | $950 – $1,400 | Often sold without the LED modules. |
| Refurbished/Complete | $1,900 – $2,800 | Includes all modules; tested for LED brightness. |
| New (OEM) | $3,800 – $5,200 | Best for insurance claims or perfect restorations. |
| Replacement Lens | $350 – $450 | Aftermarket clear covers if your housing is fine. |
 3. Critical Inspection Checklist
Before you buy a used unit, specifically ask the seller for photos/videos of:
-
The Upper Mounting Tab: This is the most common break point. Even a “repaired” tab can lead to headlight vibration at high speeds.
-
LED “Yellowing”: Check the DRL (the “eyebrow”). If it looks dim or yellow compared to the other side, the internal LED board is failing.
-
Condensation Damage: McLaren headlights “breathe,” but if you see white mineral staining inside the lens, it means standing water was present, which likely corroded the lower control modules.
 4. Installation & Programming
-
Plug-and-Play? Generally, yes. If you are swapping a like-for-like OEM unit, the car’s computer usually recognizes the modules.
-
Leveling: After installation, you must manually align the beam using the adjustment screws on the back of the housing to ensure you don’t blind oncoming traffic, as the 570S sits very low.
