The Facelift (2019+) Difference: Facelift (LCI) C63 S models feature a more prominent dual-vane diffuser design. While the mounting points are similar, the LCI diffuser is designed to pair with the newer, more angular quad exhaust tips.

Exhaust Clearance: The C63 Coupe uses a much wider exhaust exit than the Sedan or C43. If you are sourcing a standalone carbon diffuser, ensure it is labeled for the “C63 Coupe Widebody” and not the C43, as the pipe cutouts will not align.

Material Quality: Genuine Mercedes carbon (OEM) uses a pre-preg vacuum process that is significantly thinner and more UV-resistant than “wet-lay” aftermarket carbon, which can turn yellow over time in high-heat areas near the exhaust.
Retrofit Intelligence
For C300 / C43 (W205) Owners:
Bumper Width: You cannot fit a genuine C63 S Carbon Diffuser into a C300 or C43 bumper. The C63 bumper is wider and has a completely different lower mounting structure.
Full Bumper Swap: To get the C63 look, you must swap the entire rear bumper assembly. Note that this may leave a slight gap at the quarter panels unless you also install the C63 wide-body rear fenders (a major structural job).
Parktronic: Ensure the donor bumper has the correct sensor holes (6x PDC). If your car has Active Park Assist, the sensors must be recalibrated after the bumper is removed and reinstalled.
