The AMG Performance Seats are arguably the most iconic interior feature of the W205 C63 and C63 S. Core Configurations & Materials
The Performance seats were available in several high-end finishes, often defined by the “Edition” or “Package” of the car:

Nappa Leather (Single or Two-Tone): Common combinations include Black/Red Pepper (857), Black/Grey (811), and the rare Black/Platinum White.

DINAMICA Microfiber: Often found on the Edition 1 or cars with the “Magno” paint options, featuring yellow or grey contrast stitching and microfiber grip inserts for the center sections.

Silver/Black Accents: The passthrough “hole” in the headrest area is finished in silver (early models) or high-gloss black (facelift/LCI models).
Technical Intelligence: Retrofitting to W205 C300/C43
Mandatory Compatibility Notes:
Coding & Modules: If you are swapping these into a C300, you must use the seat control modules (located under the seat) that come with the Performance seats. You will likely need to code the vehicle’s Central Gateway (CGW) and Door Modules to recognize the pneumatic bolster controls.
Heating & Ventilation: Performance seats can be Heated (Option 873) and Ventilated (Option 401). However, ventilation is rarer on the Performance bucket than on the standard sport seat. Ensure the donor set matches your car’s harness.
Airbags: All genuine W205 Performance seats contain integrated side-impact airbags. Never purchase “deployed” seats for a road car, as the internal structure is often compromised.
