The SLE is a high-performance 7-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission designed for the second-generation Audi R8 (Type 4S). While it shares the 0BZ family designation with late first-gen units (like the PKL), the SLE is a significantly evolved version tailored for the 4S chassis. It features updated mechatronics and gear ratios to support the increased output of the Gen 2 V10 engine, which produces up to 610 PS and 560 Nm in the V10 Plus trim.
