BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT GTC SPEED 3S Fender Right Left Fender
For the Third Generation Bentley Continental GT, GTC, and GT Speed (2018–2024), the front fenders (wings) are highly advanced components. Unlike the bolt-on steel or plastic fenders of previous generations, these are crafted using a specialized “Superforming” process.
1. Part Numbers (3S Chassis)
For the current 3S generation, the part numbers typically follow the 3SD prefix. Note that the “Speed” model shares the same structural fender as the standard GT/GTC, but often features unique badging or trim inserts.
| Position | Part Number | Details |
| Front Left (Driver) | 3SD821101 | Aluminum Shell (Multiple suffixes: D, G, K, R) |
| Front Right (Passenger) | 3SD821102 | Aluminum Shell (Multiple suffixes: D, G, K, R) |
| Speed/Mulliner Trim | 3S0853607 | The specific “Speed” or “12” chrome/black fender badge |
2. Superformed Aluminum Technology
The 3S-series fenders are a feat of engineering. Bentley uses a process called Superforming, where the aluminum panels are heated to 500°C and shaped using air pressure.
-
Why it matters: This allows for the “haunch” and sharp “power line” crease that runs from the front wheel arch into the door—a look that is impossible to achieve with traditional stamping.
-
Repairability: Because of the temper of superformed aluminum, these fenders are extremely difficult to repair if dented. Most Bentley-certified body shops will recommend a full replacement rather than traditional “dent pulling” to maintain the structural and aesthetic lines.
3. Installation & Connectivity
Replacing a fender on the new Continental is more complex than on older models due to integrated electronics:
-
Fender Liners: The inner liner (3SD805911) is made of a sound-deadening felt-like composite to minimize road noise.
-
Sensors: The side-view cameras (if equipped with the 360° Top View system) and various proximity sensors are often routed through the fender area.
-
Side Vents: The “B” shaped side vents are separate components. Ensure you retain the clips, as they are fragile and often break during removal.
