In this generation (3S / 3SD), the Mulliner specification introduced a revolutionary “Diamond-in-Diamond” quilting pattern that is significantly more complex than the previous generation’s single-diamond design.

• “Diamond-in-Diamond” Quilting: Each individual diamond on the seat back and door panels contains exactly 712 stitches. The pattern is designed so that the embroidery lines appear to float over the leather.

• Three-Color Split: Mulliner models offer an exclusive three-color interior split (Main Hide, Secondary Hide, and an Accent/Piping color), allowing for high-contrast combinations not available on the standard GT.

4. Maintenance & Retrofitting

• Leather Care: Use only pH-neutral leather cleaners. The Mulliner “Diamond-in-Diamond” stitching is prone to trapping dirt or crumbs; a soft-bristled horsehair brush is recommended for cleaning the embroidery lines.

• Retrofitting: Swapping standard seats for Mulliner seats in a 3S GTC is a “plug-and-play” physical installation, but requires Component Protection removal via ODIS (Bentley diagnostic software) and coding to enable the massage/ventilation features if they weren’t original to the car.
