BMW G20 330e LCI Front Package Bonnet Bumper Headlights
PHEV Optimized Cooling | Inverted L-Signature LED | 2023–2026
The 330e LCI front-end is unique within the G20 3 Series lineup. While it shares the sharpened aesthetics of the 2023+ facelift, it requires a specific Hybrid Cooling Architecture to manage both the B48 petrol engine and the high-voltage battery system. This package is the essential “kit” for LCI conversions or high-standard collision repairs. BMW G20 330e LCI Front Package Bonnet Bumper Headlights

330e Hybrid Specific Considerations
The 330e’s front end is more than just a cosmetic shell. Because of the plug-in hybrid drivetrain, there are several “invisible” differences:
-
High-Power Cooling Fan: The 330e uses a 1000W fan (compared to 400W–500W on non-hybrid models) to manage heat while stationary or charging.
-
Secondary Cooling Loop: The front package includes heat exchangers for the low-temperature circuit that cools the electric motor and power electronics.
-
Aero-Efficiency: The active kidney grilles on the 330e are tuned to remain closed as much as possible to maximize electric-only range by reducing drag.
LCI “Full Face” Retrofit Requirements
 Important for Pre-LCI (2019–2022) Owners:
If you are upgrading your older 330e to the LCI look, you cannot swap parts individually.
The Set Rule: The LCI headlights have a different lower contour. You must install the LCI Bumper, LCI Bonnet, and LCI Headlights as a single synchronized unit for the gaps to align.
Coding: The 2023+ headlights require updated modules and coding to the BDC (Body Domain Controller) to recognize the new DRL and Matrix logic.
