The 530e Hybrid Specific Details
Unlike a standard 530i, the 530e cooling module is more complex because it manages two separate thermal loops:

High-Temperature Loop: For the B48 2.0L Petrol Engine.

Low-Temperature Loop: For the electric motor, power electronics, and high-voltage battery.
 Critical Note: When purchasing a “Radiator Pack,” ensure it is from a 530e donor. Using a standard 530i radiator can lead to overheating of the hybrid drivetrain components.
LCI Design Changes (Snake Eye / L-Shape)

The Bumper: The LCI M-Sport bumper features sharper, more angular vertical air curtains at the corners compared to the Pre-LCI version.

Active Grilles: The LCI Kidney Grilles are “connected” in the middle as one unified piece. In the 530e, these shutters stay closed more often to improve aerodynamics while the car is in EV mode.

Headlights: The LCI lights are slimmer. If you are retrofitting these to a 2017–2020 car, you must also change the bumper and the bonnet, as the headlight “cutout” shape in the older metal is different.
