1. Airbag & Occupancy Sensors: If moving these into a vehicle that had standard power seats, you must transfer or code the seat occupancy sensor. Failure to do so will trigger an SRS/Airbag warning light.

2. Coding (VO Coding): Because GTS/CS seats are manually operated, the vehicle’s FEM (Front Body Electronics Module) needs to be coded to “delete” the memory seat function. This prevents the car from searching for the electric motors and throwing non-critical fault codes.

3. Seat Heating: Most GTS/CS seats do not include heating elements to save weight. if your vehicle was originally equipped with heated seats, the heating function will be lost unless custom heating pads are retrofitted.

4. Slider Rails: These sets typically come with the dedicated lightweight manual sliders. Ensure the floor bolts are torqued to 42 Nm as per BMW factory safety specifications.
