The X-Line Distinction

The X-Line (Option S3L8A) is designed to give the X1 a more “off-road” aesthetic compared to the M-Sport or Sport Line variants:

• Matte Silver Accents: The lower section of the bumper features a prominent matte silver inlay that mimics a skid plate.

• Intake Design: The LCI X-Line bumper features integrated LED fog lights (on most markets) housed within textured black plastic surrounds with silver “C-fin” accents.

• Grille Finish: X-Line grilles typically feature vertical slats with silver fronts and black sides, providing a high-contrast premium look.

LCI Conversion & Technical Notes

Compatibility Guide:

• Headlight Shape: The LCI headlights are slimmer and connect more seamlessly to the larger grille. If you are retrofitting these to a pre-facelift (2016–2019) car, the LCI Bumper and Grille are mandatory to match the new light contours.

• Fog Light Wiring: The LCI LED fog lights use a different connector than the pre-LCI halogen units. A simple adapter cable (Part #61128718648) or splicing is required for a functional retrofit.

• Bonnet & Fenders: Interestingly, the metal panels (Bonnet and Fenders) for the F25 LCI remain physically compatible with pre-LCI mounting points, though the LCI bonnet features slightly more pronounced “precision lines.”
