DODGE RAM TRX SEATS INTERIOR DOOR PANEL

Dodge RAM TRX (2021–2024) interior is the high-performance pinnacle of the RAM 1500 (DT) line. Designed to keep the driver stable during high-speed desert runs, the TRX cabin utilizes technical materials like Alcantara and Carbon Fiber that are not found in the Limited or Laramie trims.

1. TRX Front Performance Seats

The TRX seats are heavily bolstered to provide maximum lateral support. There are two primary versions based on the equipment group:

• TR-Level 1 (Standard): Features premium cloth and vinyl bolsters with leather inserts.

• TR-Level 2 (Upgrade): Features Natura Plus Leather and Axis II Suede (Alcantara).

  • Accents: Signature TRX Red or Medium Gray accent stitching and piping.

  • Branding: The “TRX” logo is embroidered prominently on the upper seatback.

  • Cooling: Level 2 seats are both Heated and Ventilated.

  • Modular Storage: The seatbacks feature MOLLE-style webbing (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) for attaching tactical pouches or gear—a unique “off-road” functional detail.

     

2. Rear Bench (Crew Cab)

The TRX is only available in the Crew Cab configuration, meaning the rear bench is identical in size to the Limited but differs in materials.

• 60/40 Split: The seat cushions flip up to reveal a flat load floor.

• Heating/Ventilation: In TR-Level 2 trucks, the outboard rear seats are also Heated and Ventilated.

• Under-Seat Storage: Includes the fold-out “bin” system typical of the DT platform, often paired with all-weather TRX-branded floor mats that feature “drain plugs” for easy cleaning after off-roading.

3. TRX Door Panels (Door Cards)

The door panels are a mix of luxury and “tactical” styling.

• Materials: Leather-wrapped uppers with Alcantara inserts on the armrests.

• Trim Finishes: Depending on the package, these feature either Carbon Fiber or Gunmetal accents.

• Audio: Housing for the 19-speaker Harman Kardon® system with specialized stainless steel grilles.

   

• Map Pockets: Dual-tier storage with integrated LED ambient lighting pipes that glow red (or customizable colors) when the vehicle is in Sport or Baja modes.

When buying or selling TRX interior components, verify the VIN-specific stitching color. While Red is the most common, there were limited runs with Grey or “Ignition Orange” stitching. Mixing these colors in a single cabin significantly lowers the resale value of a “complete” interior set.
