Intercooler McLaren 570s left right

Intercoolers for the McLaren 570S are critical “Air-to-Water” heat exchangers. Unlike many turbocharged cars that use air-to-air intercoolers at the front, the 570S uses two compact water-jacketed units located on either side of the engine. These cool the compressed air from the turbos before it enters the intake manifold.

1. Technical Identification & Part Numbers

The left and right intercoolers are mirrored and carry distinct part numbers. You cannot swap them from side to side.

• Left (Bank 1) Intercooler: 13L0466CP

• Right (Bank 2) Intercooler: 13L0467CP

• Type: Water-cooled charge air cooler (CAC).

• Fitment: Standard on the 570S (Coupe/Spider), 540C, and 570GT.

  • Note: The 600LT uses a higher-efficiency version of these units, though they are physically similar in mounting.
