LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR LP700 DASHBOARD MODULE ALCANTARA

the Alcantara Dashboard Module (specifically the upper dash or “top roll”) for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a highly sought-after interior component. 1. Technical Identification

  • Primary Part Number: 470857061 (Base code for the dashboard assembly).

  • Material: Genuine Alcantara (Synthetic microsuede).

  • Color/Stitching: The part number usually ends in a 3-digit color code (e.g., NER for Nero Ade).

  • Configuration: The dashboard is modular; the “Alcantara Module” typically refers to the Upper Dashboard Skin or the Instrument Cluster Hood (Binnacle)..

3. Why the Alcantara Module Fails

  • UV Shrinkage: The Aventador’s massive windshield acts like a magnifying glass. Even in 2026, Alcantara remains susceptible to heat. If not treated with UV protectants, the material can shrink away from the defrost vents or the edges of the A-pillars.

  • Fading: Black Alcantara (Nero Ade) can turn a brownish-purple hue over a decade of sun exposure.

  • Cleaning Damage: Improper use of steam or harsh chemicals can “burn” the fibers, leading to a matted, rough texture.

4. Installation & “The Windshield Factor”

  • The Hard Way: In most official service manuals, replacing the upper dashboard module requires the removal of the windshield. While some specialist shops can do it with the glass in place, it is incredibly difficult to get the clips near the cowl properly seated without the glass out.

  • Airbag Safety: The passenger side of the dashboard module contains the Deployment Door for the airbag. If you are re-trimming an existing dash, you must ensure the stitching is “weakened” or “scored” to factory specs, or the airbag will not deploy correctly in an accident.

  • Sensor Transfer: You will need to transfer the Solar Sensor (which controls the HVAC) and the Photosensor for the automatic headlights from your old dash to the new module.
