Original Mercedes AMG A45 S Bumper w177 Front Rear
The “Predator” Stance | Panamericana Design | Quad Exhaust Diffuser
The A45 S AMG (W177) features the most aggressive bodywork in the A-Class lineup. Unlike the A35 or AMG-Line models, the A45 S utilizes a wider front track, which necessitates specific wide-body front fenders and a unique bumper assembly. It is the only W177 model to come factory-equipped with the Panamericana Grille and the signature round quad exhaust tips. Original Mercedes AMG A45 S Bumper w177 Front Rear
1. Front Bumper Assembly (A45 S)
The front end is dominated by the “Shark Nose” design and functional aerodynamics.
-
Panamericana Grille: Features 15 vertical chrome or black slats. Note: The A45 S grille is physically wider than the A35 version and is not directly interchangeable without the A45 S bumper.
-
Aerodynamic Flics (Code B26): High-gloss black “canards” on the outer air intakes that increase front-axle downforce.
-
Wide-Body Integration: The bumper edges are flared to meet the wider A45 S aluminum fenders.
-
Technical Support: Pre-drilled for 6x PDC sensors and the front 360° camera (Code 501).
2. Rear Bumper & Diffuser Assembly
The rear of the A45 S is defined by its massive diffuser and distinctive exhaust outlet shape.
-
High-Gloss Diffuser: Features four vertical fins to optimize airflow from beneath the car.
-
Quad Exhaust Tips: Two 90mm round tips on each side (total of 4). These are usually finished in Chrome or Black Chrome (Night Package).
-
Rear Aero Flaps: Two-piece high-gloss black flaps located on the air outlets behind the rear wheel arches.
Technical Compatibility Matrix
| Feature | Details |

| Front Width | +54mm wider at the front fenders compared to standard A-Class |
Comparison: A45 S vs. A35 Bumper
Conversion Warning: If you are trying to make an A35 or A250 look like an A45 S, be aware:
The Front: An original A45 S front bumper will not line up with standard A-Class fenders. You must also buy the wider A45 S front fenders and the inner wheel arch liners.
The Rear: The A45 S rear diffuser is compatible with any AMG-Line (Code 772) rear bumper. This is the most popular “bolt-on” upgrade for A180-A35 owners.
