Bentley GT Rear Bumper Tailpipes Exhaust New Model 2020
For the 2020 Bentley Continental GT (3S New Model), the rear bumper and exhaust setup are highly modular. On this generation, the tailpipes are “floating” finishers that sit within the rear diffuser rather than being clamped directly to the exhaust pipes.
1. Tailpipe Design by Engine Type
In the 2020 model year, the shape of the tailpipes is the quickest way to identify the powertrain:
| Engine | Tailpipe Style | Visual Description |
| V8 Models | Quad “Figure-8” | Two smaller, interconnected ovals on each side. |
| W12 Models | Large Oval | A single, massive elliptical opening on each side. |
2. Key Part Numbers (3S Series)
The tailpipes are side-specific and finish-specific (Chrome vs. Blackline).
-
Standard Chrome (Left):
3SD807607 -
Standard Chrome (Right):
3SD807608 -
Blackline Specification (Gloss Black): Often carries a suffix like
DSorBT. -
Rear Diffuser (Lower Bumper):
3SD807521(The plastic or carbon fiber trim that houses the tips).
3. Mounting & Integration
-
The “Floating” Setup: The tailpipe finishers are bolted to the rear bumper/diffuser carrier. There is a 1–2 inch gap between the actual exhaust silencer exit and these decorative tips. This prevents the heat of the W12/V8 from melting the bumper plastics.
-
Compatibility: 2020 models are part of the
3S(Third Gen) series. These parts will not fit the 2003–2018 models as the mounting points and bumper curvature are completely different.
