Bentley Supersports grille front rear bumper carbon
For the Bentley Continental Supersports, the carbon fiber aerodynamic package is what distinguishes its aggressive silhouette from the standard GT or Speed models. Depending on whether you are looking for the classic 2017–2018 (Gen 2) or the newly released 2026 (Gen 3) model, the components vary significantly.
1. 2017–2018 Supersports (The Final W12 Edition)
The 2017 model used carbon fiber to achieve 300kg of downforce. It features the most extensive carbon aero kit of its era.
-
Front Bumper Splitter:
3W3807292B. This is a massive, high-gloss carbon fiber lip that integrates with the lower bumper. -
Rear Bumper Diffuser:
3W8807521D. A aggressive, finned carbon fiber unit that houses the large elliptical exhaust finishers. -
Bonnet Vents: Two distinct carbon fiber inlets set into the hood to aid engine cooling.
-
Front Grille: Unlike standard chrome, the Supersports uses a lightweight laser-cut mesh finished in high-gloss black or dark tint.
2. 2026 Supersports (The New V8 Performance Model)
Released to commemorate 100 years of the “Super Sports” name, the 2026 model is nearly 1,000 lbs lighter than a standard GT, thanks to extreme carbon use.
-
Carbon Fiber Body Panels: For the first time, the Hood (Bonnet) and the Roof are constructed entirely of carbon fiber as standard to lower the center of gravity.
-
Front Splitter & Dive Planes: The front bumper features the largest splitter ever fitted to a road-going Bentley, accompanied by two pairs of stacked carbon dive planes on the bumper corners.
-
Rear Aero: Features a massive carbon fiber rear diffuser and a fixed rear wing, which are mirror-matched across the centerline for visual symmetry.
-
Maintenance of High-Gloss Carbon
-
UV Protection: Bentley’s factory carbon is finished with a high-content UV-resistant lacquer, but it can “cloud” if left in extreme sun for years. A high-quality Carnauba wax or Ceramic Coating is recommended to maintain the “mirror-match” finish.
-
Impact Resilience: The front splitter is doubled in thickness for the newer models, but it remains low to the ground. Using a Scrape Armor protector or a clear Paint Protection Film (PPF) is essential for these high-value parts.
