This is the newest Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) headlight generation for the G80 M3, G82 M4, G22 4-Series, and G26 i4/Gran Coupe. Known by enthusiasts as the “Snake Eye” design, these units replace the previous Laserlight option with a high-output Adaptive LED system featuring striking vertical DRL (Daytime Running Light) signatures. The Shadowline variant (Option Code 3MF) is the most aggressive version, featuring blacked-out internal housings and dark-tinted accents instead of the standard chrome/silver trim.

Shadowline Aesthetics: All internal “brow” elements and projector surrounds are finished in matte and gloss black. The “BMW LED” etching is anodized in dark grey/black for a monochromatic look.

Matrix LED Technology: These headlights utilize a matrix of LEDs that can selectively dim certain areas of the high beam to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic while maintaining maximum illumination elsewhere.
