BMW X3 F25 LCI Front Package Bumper Bonnet Radiator Fenders
Facelift Upgrade | M Sport & Standard Versions | 2014–2017
The X3 F25 LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) front-end package is a popular solution for both collision repair and “pre-facelift to facelift” conversions. The LCI update brought a more refined, modern look, most notably with headlights that connect directly to the kidney grilles—a design language shared with the F30 3 Series of that era. Technical Compatibility & Retrofit Notes
Efficiency Tip: Unlike some other BMW models, the Bonnet and Fenders for the F25 X3 are largely identical between the Pre-LCI (2011–2014) and LCI (2014–2017) versions. If you are doing a conversion, you can often keep your original metal panels and only replace the bumper, grilles, and headlights.
-
Headlight Differences: LCI headlights have a different shape where they meet the kidney grilles. You cannot use pre-LCI grilles with LCI headlights.
-
M Sport vs. Standard: The M Sport (S715A) package features much larger air intakes and does not have the “X-Line” silver skid plate trim. Ensure your package includes the correct air ducting for your specific bumper style.
-
PDC & Cameras: Ensure the bumper has the correct amount of holes (usually 4 or 6) for your Park Distance Control and the side-view camera cutouts if your car has the Surround View option.
